American Denial

As someone who spent over a decade blacking out from alcohol and a year homeless, I know a lot about denial. I denied my own life and safety in pursuit of alcohol. I denied that anything was wrong with me and continued on with a hazardous life. What I see many in our country doing now is very similar.

It may not be all of us, but enough of deny the problems in our country and it is perhaps the largest hindrance to progress.
